SIP's Cement Skin Panels & Plant Specifications:

This superior Cement Skin SIP's factory line produces up to 30,720 sq. ft. (2, 853.92 sq. mt) per day. A plant can be operated on 2 shifts per day allowing for production of 1,426.96 square meter (15,360 square feet) per shift. This equates up to 8,478,720 square feet (787,682 square meter) per year on 46 week working year. 787,682 sq. mt. of panels can be used in around 15,000 houses of 36 sq. mt. (our Villa in a Box design).

SIP's Plants can be designed to produce any amount of panels, which is based on how much factory space you have available. The leasing of a warehouse is recommend for startup operations to keep the costs low. We recommend that you expand into your own factory building and purchase your own land when your business permits to do so. For a production of 960 panels per day = 2,853.92 sq. mt. you only need around 500 square meter of factory space incl. storage facilities.

In a fully automated process this machine will laminate and press a 4' x 8' panel of any thickness up to 12.25" These machines can be built to handle any size up to a 4' x 16' panel. For approximate dimensional changes for such machines, please add 4 feet of overall length to the dimensions given above for each additional foot of panel length (e.g. allow for an extra 8 feet if you will be using 4' x 10' panels). Although this machine has been designed for cement skin production (ie. smaller sheets) any approved skin material can be used including OSB, plywood or nonstructural materials for nonstructural panel applications. Options include an automated cutoff saw to shorten panels to any specified length, or 21st Equity's CNC cutting table which has been specifically designed for the SIP industry.

Capabilities

This compact sophisticated Cement Skin lamination line will produce a very high output while occupying minimal floor space. With 21st Equity's streamlined, fully integrated process and fast cycle times, this machine can produce from 960 square feet (89.19 sq. mt.) to 1920 square feet (178.37 sq. mt.) of unprocessed panel per hour with only one operator. That translates to one 1200 square foot (111.48 sq. mt.) home every two hours, or 4 homes per shift (8 homes on 2 shifts) all produced on a 1200 square foot machine. When 'twinned' with 21st Equity 's Universal Line, which adds the capacity to manufacture jumbo OSB panels for roof systems, this time can be cut to one such home per hour.

Lamination Process:

A stack of skins is placed on each of the two in-feed tables. The machine feeds the skins into the assembly table, applying fast glue and water mist. The foam feeder inserts the solid foam core and the skins are automatically sandwiched together. The machine is adjustable to different positions of skins vs. core. The assembled panel travels to the hydraulic press, where it is pressed for 2.5 minutes depending on the speed of the glue used (24 panels per hour or up to 1,536 sq feet per hour at 16 ft length). 21st Equitys automated and streamlined lamination process allows the use of fast glue for shorter cycle times.

DELIVERY TIME OF SIPS MANUFACTURING PLANTS:

The manufacturing plants can be delivered and commissioned 3-4 months from placement of order. The timing will depend on the location of your factory building, size of plant and shipping time. Training and full backup support is included in the technology transfer fee. On placement of order for a manufacturing plant a program of works is issued to the master licensee. This creates a timeline for delivery and installation. There are guarantees in place for all events within our control, however events outside our control, such as workers strikes, natural disasters, etc., will result in delays. We have not experienced delays in delivery of plants to date.

The license cost (technology transfer) for any region (ie. Country or other area as defined) is included in the above license fee. Typically 50% on license execution, 50% on plant completion and commissioning. This is offset under a Joint Venture arrangement to be agreed on.

Steps to be taken is to sign a exclusive master license agreement, pay the license fee, have in house training, have your factory lines established which takes 12 to 16 weeks and then you are ready to be a SIP's panel manufacturer. Before that we would import houses and SIP's panels based on your local demand.
