What is E-Panel?

E-Panel  is an innovative building product internationally developed and manufactured for a wide range of rapid construction applications.

Hollow core wall elements are manufactured from dense lightweight aggregate concrete. The wall-height elements are 600 mm wide. The dimensionally precise elements featuring tongue and groove vertical joints, are installed quickly. The elements vertical cavities lighten the wall construction and facilitate the convenient installation of concealed HPAC technical systems. All E-Panel wall elements are fire rated of up to 120 minutes and provide excellent sound insulation.

As a lightweight interlocking hollow core concrete panel, which is fully cured at the factory, E-Panel eliminates wet trades and as it is project specific, drastically reduces on-site waste. E-Panels are demountable and re-locatable. In new constructions as well as renovations, E-Panels are well suited for masonry construction partition walls in residential, commercial and industrial buildings.

E-Panels of 68 mm and 92 mm elements are used in residential construction for walls between wet and dry spaces. E-Panel 92 and 120 mm elements' superior fire-resistance and sound insulation qualities have led to their widespread use in numerous industrial, office and warehouse facilities. E-Panel 120 mm and 68 mm elements are used as combination construction in the walls between dwellings.

E-Panels are suitable for non-load bearing and in certain cases load-bearing partition walls. Despite the lightness of its construction, an E-Panel element provides the advantages of a masonry wall. It is rigid, moisture-resistant, noncombustible, insulates sound well and is easily worked with. The cavities can be used as conduits for electric wiring and water pipes. The E-Panel element surface is even and strong, with a minimum need for leveling. Fasteners remain securely attached to the elements.

Construction projects all over the world have benefited from using the E-Panel technology. As the product is low cost, environmentally friendly and does not diminish natural resources, the technology is gaining significant presence in both established and developing markets.
